  • President Poroshenko blamed the chairman of the territorial commission for the failure of elections in Mariupol and hopes that the Parliament will appoint new elections on November 15th. He believes that the process of counting the votes in the elections should last no more than three days. Concept of the law on special order of the elections in the occupied territory of Donbas submitted for discussion by Contact Group talks in Minsk. The adoption of this law by the Verkhovna Rada is written in the Minsk agreements.

  • Vice-President of the European People's Party in the PACE Mariani dismissed due to the unofficial visit to the occupied Crimea.
  • Turkish Prime Minister Davutoglu announced the victory of his party in the elections half a day after the end of voting. Justice and Development Party won more than half of the votes in the parliament due to the loss of the electorate by nationalists and Kurdish party.
  • In the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan Party of President Aliyev won a landslide. Opposition parties and Western observers did not participate in the elections.
