The Trends

  • Increasing utility tariffs together with increasing of the tax burden on business will inevitably lead to a cooling of the economy, the growth of debt on utility bills and put people on the brink of survival. Experts predict growth of protest moods in society in the coming months.
  • Attempts by President Poroshenko to prohibit citizens from owning arms indicate fear of losing his position as a result of people's armed uprising. Free sale of weapons to the population is a characteristic feature of democratic countries. Totalitarian regimes prohibit legal sale in arms.
  • Russia's participation can be seen in almost all financing of terrorist organizations. Putin is trying to keep the high oil prices, fueling armed conflicts around the world, knowing that the fall in prices could lead to the collapse of his regime, like the collapse of the USSR.
